Finest Dining in Branson

Last week, we hosted a retreat for the board of directors of an insurance company. The trip was a success, with great lodging at the Hilton Promenade and a few great shows and meals. Here's a quick rundown of the restaurants Branson Executive Travel booked for the event...

Romano's Macaroni Grill
Dinner on the first evening of the event was at Romano's Macaroni Grill at Branson Landing. The group came away with rave reviews of the service and menu options. They enjoyed a choice of Italian classics. Fettuccine Alfredo, Pasta Milano, Chicken Canneloni, and Eggplan Parmesean.

The evening was capped off with a moonlight cruise on Lake Taneycomo aboard the Branson Landing Princess Yacht.

Cantina Laredo
A gourmet Mexican menu was the lunch offering on day two. Group members enjoyed top shelf margaritas (the best anywhere!) and unique Mexican entrees like Enchilada Veracruz, Chimichurri Salmon, and Beef Asada. Flan was an experimental desert choice spurring some mixed reviews.

Andy Williams' Moon River Grill
Dinner on day two was at Andy Williams' Moon River Grill. The atmosphere is always a hit at the Music legend's restaurant. The dinner served that evening was met with high marks from members of the group who enjoyed Prime Rib, House Cut Grilled Salmon, Roasted Pork Loin, and Filet of Tenderloin.

Worman Steakhouse at Big Cedar Lodge
After some free time on the final day of the meeting, the group headed to beautiful Big Cedar Lodge to enjoy a five-star dining experience at the Worman Steakhouse. Spectacular views were found both inside and out of the restaurant as the sun set over Table Rock Lake. Equally as impressive was the expertly plated four-course meal that offered a variety of appetizers like Ahi Tuna Carpaccio and Seared Prime Beef Tenderloin. A delicious salad was then followed by incredible entrees like prime steaks, pork chops, and fish.

The event was a great success. The CEO was kind enough to recommend Branson Executive Travel to the members of the board for their next corporate event. Special thanks to the management at our partner restaurants for helping us produce a flawless event!

Branson Airport Enables Corporate Meetings & Events in Branson

There were plenty of naysayers, but as it turns out, the Branson Airport has been able to deliver exactly what they promised - affordable airfare from a number of major destinations around the country.

As of right now, you can book a round trip flight to Branson from Atlanta, Milwaukee, Dallas, or Minneapolis for under $200. There are a number of connections available from Atlanta and Minneapolis as well. This totally changes the landscape of corporate travel to Branson. Many regional companies could tell you that resorts like the Chateau on the Lake and Big Cedar Lodge are incredible destinations for business travel, but until now, businesses outside of driving distance have had a difficult time enabling meetings in the Ozarks. The great air access through Branson airport solves that quandary.

Branson's Airport Connections Are Growing!

The Branson Airport is making good on their promise to add convenient and affordable air transportation to the tourism destination. Several weeks ago, the privately owned airport announced daily service to Atlanta from $89.00, with connecting flights from Atlanta to other major cities available on AirTran Airlines.

Just last week, AirTran added daily service to Milwaukee. Airport officials say they are still working on connections to other major hub cities like Dallas and Denver. Meanwhile, construction continues on the terminal in preparation for the May 11 grand opening.

Convenient transportation opportunities, great activities, and excellent convention & meeting facilities like the Hilton Branson Convention Center Hotel, Chateau on the Lake, and Big Cedar Lodge make Branson a hot new destination for business travel.

Branson Airport Anticipation

The new Branson Airport announces it has signed a national network carrier to bring low-cost air transportation to Branson

Who will be the new carrier(s) at Branson Airport? The answer is a highly guarded secret, but officials for the first commercial airport built entirely with private funding promise a "national network carrier" with discount rates.

If that is so, Branson's growing meeting and convention market will surely see a spike as event attendees will have a much more convenient option for travel to and from the popular destination.

Stay tuned!

Hilton Branson Convention Center

Stopped in for a peek at the Hilton Branson Convention Center Hotel the other day. The lobby is stunning. Very well decorated with a modern vibe - but still using some earthy elements. Looking forward to staying there sometime soon when I'll have a full review.
